Combination Filler Treatment with Juvederm and Juvederm Voluma

Since Allergan released their newest filler product, Juvederm Voluma, a few months ago, we have been getting lots questions about what makes this filler different from Juvederm and how can the two fillers work together to achieve optimal results.

These two fillers are different in that they are used to treat different parts of the face in different ways. The more commonly known filler, Juvederm Ultra/Ultra Plus, has been available since 2006 and is one of the most popular fillers for fine lines, folds and lips.   Juvederm Voluma is the first and only FDA-approved filler to instantly add volume to the cheek area causing it to re-contour and “lift.” While Juvederm Ultra/Ultra Plus smoothes lines and folds, Juvederm Voluma improves a tired and gaunt appearance.
