In April 2003, Dr. Lupo was chosen to be on the original physician advisory board for Sculptra Aesthetic, an injectable that helps correct shallow to deep facial wrinkles and folds that appear with aging by replacing lost collagen.  That same year, she was trained to use the product in Geneva, Switzerland.  The FDA approved Sculptra in 2004, and since then, Dr. Lupo has trained other physicians and residents on how to properly use the product. Because Sculptra is injected differently from other injectables, Dr. Lupo advises patients to have Sculptra injected by someone well versed in its proper dilution and injection techniques.
